This model was sold as Seiko's luxury line from 1967 to 1978.
In the 1960s, when Swiss watches were synonymous with luxury and high performance, Seiko developed a high-precision 10-beat movement (a part called the balance wheel vibrates 10 times per second, or 36,000 times per hour. The higher the vibration frequency, the higher the accuracy). The Lord Marvel 36000 was the first watch in Japan to use this 10-beat movement. In 1968, it won first place in a world competition for watch accuracy, taking it to the top of the world. It is said that the competition was abolished after that, in order to protect the brand value of Swiss watches, as Switzerland felt threatened by the high quality of Japanese watches.
Generally, as the vibration frequency of a watch increases, the strain on the movement also increases, but from my experience repairing watches, the Lord Marvel 36000 is less susceptible to wear due to the high quality of the metal used and its sophisticated design, so with proper maintenance it will remain a vintage watch that you can use for a long time to come.

■Notes: We strive to provide beautiful items, but please understand that as these are vintage items, there may be some scratches and small marks.・Vintage watches do not originally have mechanisms to maintain the same level of accuracy as modern watches, and because of the passage of time, a daily accuracy error (daily rate) of about 1 to 2 minutes is considered to be within the acceptable range. The standard after maintenance is a daily rate of ±15 to 30 seconds, but please understand that there may be some variation depending on the usage environment.
■ About the warranty Warranty period: 1 year from the date of purchase Warranty contents: If there is a natural failure due to normal use during the warranty period, we will repair it under the warranty. This is a warranty for the watch itself, and accessories such as leather straps are not covered by the warranty.
Please note that even if the product is within the warranty period, repair costs and shipping fees will be borne by the customer if any of the following conditions apply.
