Sometimes customers ask us if we can test their eyesight at our store, but since we are an eyeglass store, of course we can.
In order to ensure that you can wear your glasses comfortably, vision testing is one of the most important processes. In this day and age, simply testing your vision and getting a score for how well you can see can be done by machine alone.
Rather than simply recommending glasses that will help you see better, we aim to measure your vision in order to create glasses that are comfortable and easy to use.
It takes about 30 minutes to an hour for a vision test. The process is as follows:
1. Check the current situation
We will check your current eyeglass or contact lens use and prescription. If you wear eyeglasses, we can check your prescription with a lens meter. If you have the data from when you purchased your eyeglasses, please bring it with you.
If you frequently wear contact lenses, we will refer to the measurements listed on your contact lenses, so please have them ready if possible.
2. Hearing
The reasons why customers want to get glasses vary from one customer to another. For example, they may want to get new glasses because they currently have difficulty seeing, they may be having difficulty seeing things up close, or they may want prescription sunglasses. We believe that listening to customers' needs is extremely important in proposing the optimal prescription and frames.
